Workshop | 3.6 m Plywood Canoe
The plywood canoe has been developed with an extra chine in the keel and inbuilt flotation. It is ideal for people with no boat building skills to make. A stitch and glue canoe is reasonably easy to make, especially using hardwood bracing ply and is also very strong and light. There are many additions that can be made to the basic canoe - scuppered gunwales, seats, closed ends, paddles - that will challenge the more able students.
The workshop is costed per canoe.
