Hape Kiddle and Carol Russell are two wood carvers who work in very different styles but through their friendship and ongoing conversations about their work, a series of truths about making has emerged between them.
In this three-day class, you can be a part of that conversation and the story-telling that emerges from immersing yourself in the practical and creative process and approaching your work with authenticity and honesty.
Through the making of a drinking vessel, you can explore the possibilities of extending this traditional form into something beyond its purpose, we’ll be looking at:
